After having walked approximately a good quarter of an hour through the jungle, we arrived in a clearing where the village of pigmés was probably located. Again I was the object of all the interrogations by the women and children as well as the other pigmy warriors who remained in the village. I was pushed towards two cages which were suspended from poles and unceremoniously I was forced into one of them and then the door was closed. They left me here. The kneeling position was uncomfortable but exhausted by everything that had just happened to me I closed my eyes and ended up falling asleep...
